RCN Associates, Inc., of Annapolis, Maryland USA, and DrugLogic™ of Reston, Virginia have entered into a Strategic Alliance. The goal of this alliance is to complement the skills sets of the other toward providing pharmacovigilance analyses, drug safety consultation and services for global pharmaceutical companies, and related industries. RCN will bring an epidemiological perspective that complements DrugLogic’s the state-of-the-art computer analytics. RCN brings a wide range of expertise featuring drug safety, epidemiology, U.S. regulatory affairs, forensic epidemiology and IT systems design. DrugLogic™ brings the power of QScan, its flagship product, and systems integration, medical coding and medical dictionary expertise. This collaboration will yield a powerful integrated capability to serve their clients. RCN & DrugLogic™ will also apply their complement skills sets to analytical and drug safety consultation and services for international pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Nelson will serve as the Chief Scientific Officer to DrugLogic™ and be an ex officio member of its management team. RCN Associates, Inc. will remain an independent consultancy offering a wide-range of expertise to the drug safety community.
